Gender? A Workshop
Recent contributions of nonbinary and gender non-conforming activists and scholars have fundamentally challenged core assumptions of gay and feminist politics: namely, that gender is a useful concept. Is the goal simply equal rights for women or is it about challenging the very category of woman and man to begin with? Is the problem about being misgendered, or is it about being gendered to begin with? In this interactive workshop push further to better understand the root causes of gender-based violence and imagine nonbinary futures.
