SERGIO CASTIGLIONE ESPEJOS URBANOS. OTRA FORMA DE MIRAR BUENOS AIRES
Buenos Aires has a large number of buildings that constitute its architectural heritage. We, the porteƱos are used to living with the urban space that is at eye level, or even lower. Rarely do we look up, making us miss the opportunity to contemplate another city, perhaps much more attractive. This photographic show consists of the capture of significant icons of each one of the fifteen communes through reflections in the water. The idea is that, with a simple exercise of looking "down" - the most common point of view - we can see what is above us. Segio Castiglione is an Argentine photographer. He obtained his degree in Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires and later a Masters of Architecture from Syracuse University, New York. Photography was always amongst his interests. His specialty is urban exploration and travel photography. He lived in Italy, Malta and the United States in the last twenty five years. He visited more than two hundred cities around the world, documented its buildings and the things that make metropolis unique. He currently lives and works in Buenos Aires.
