We're excited to announce our speakers for the 2018 CoMo Christian Men's Conference:
Lee Strobel is the author of the best-selling book, The Case for Christ, and subject of the 201film by the same name that details his conversion to Christianity. His recent release, The Case for Grace, just won the 2016 Nonfiction Book of the Year from the EPCA. For the last twenty-five years, his life's work has been to share the evidence that supports the truth and claims of Christianity and to equip believers to share their faith with the people they know and love. Lee earned his Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri. He was a journalist for fourteen years at The Chicago Tribune and other newspapers.
Dr. Robert Lewis will make an encore performance at the 2018 CoMo Christian Men's Conference five years after headlining at our inaugural conference. Dr. Lewis is the creator of The Quest for Authentic Manhood series and the author of numerous books including Raising a Modern Day Knight. Dr. Lewis is also the creator of 33:The Series, a curriculum that is currently being used in thousands of churches and men's groups across this country.
Scott Sauls is the Senior Pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Previously, Scott was a lead and preaching pastor for Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, where he worked alongside Dr. Timothy Keller. He has also planted churches in Kansas City and St. Louis, and is a frequent speaker at conferences, leadership retreats, and to university students. Formative experiences have included being an athlete, living in a global city, and suffering through a season of anxiety and depression. In his free time you might find Scott relaxing with people or a book, strumming his Gibson J-45, hiking, enjoying live music,or cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and North Carolina Tar Heels. Scott has authored three books: Jesus Outside the Lines, Befriend, and From Weakness to Strength. Scott also blogs weekly on this website and is active on social media.
Brad Smith is a former NFL Wide Receiver and Mizzou Standout. Smith graduated from Mizzou in 2005 and played for the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and ended his NFL career withthe Philadelphia Eagles.
J'den Cox is a three time NCAA wrestling champion for the University of Missouri and a Bronze Medalist from last years Olympics in Rio. A native of Columbia, Mo, Jden is not shy about his faith and frequently performs with the worship choir at his local church. While continuing to train for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Cox works as an assistant volunteer coach for Mizzous wrestling program.
