The Live Out Loud Art Lecture Series
Throughout Pride Month, The Live Out Loud Lecture Series will feature LGBTQ artists across a variety of art forms speaking about their artwork and how their personal experience informs the work they create. After each lecture, we will open the space up for discussion and conversation, creating an open forum about the work presented and what it means to be an LGBTQ artist today. Works from each of the artist will also be on display in the upstairs gallery for the month of June. The lectures will take place each Wednesday in June, beginning at 6:00 pm.
Lecture Schedule: June 7th: June 7th: Playwright/Screenwriter Emily Kaczmarek & Composer/Lyricist Zoe Sarnak June 14th: Photographer Groana Melendez June 21st: Actor and playwright Karl O'Brian Williams June 28th: Photographer Jeanette Spicer
Tickets can be purchased in person at MCCNY for $10 a lecture or $30 for all 4.
