Mindburn 2017

The 6th edition of Mindburn Austrian Burner Week will take place at the last years' spectacular location, in a crater on a mountain!

Mindburn has grown over the years to a wonderful, diversified and colourful burner event with Workshops, Art, Djs, Live Music, Technology Presentations, Games, Costume Camp, Talks, and much more, created by the participants! No matter if you come for the first time or have attended many times, you will be welcomed to a warm community of burners, which will make it easy for you to participate and connect.

Tickets

Please note: EVERYONE who wants to participate in Mindburn needs to buy a ticket, including artists, performers, DJs, organizers and volunteers!

Staying in the tradition of Mindburn and to support radical inclusion we have decided to use a Pay As You Wish scheme. Pay As You Wish means you check in with yourself and arrive at a payment that feels right to you. You get the same out of the festival, whether you buy a category A, B, C or D Ticket. The only difference between the ticket categories is the amount of money you contribute to the community and the event.

The gift from us here is that what feels right in your heart is great! As long as you feel good in your heart, we trust that.
On the other hand, if you are in a situation where you have more, and contributing more feels good to you, were happy to receive that support.

What is sustainable for us

Its important to us that we are honest with you, and not pretending putting up this event does not cost money, because it does. The tickets are our way to cover these costs which is why we have defined categories and a minimum price.
Our edge-of-sustainable revenue for this event is around €3000. The more money we receive in advance the more art grants we can give back to the community so the earlier you make your contribution the better!

Participation

The experience at Mindburn is created by the participants, that's YOU.
You can participate as much or as little as you like. However, you will have the most fun, if you contribute in some way. Only your imagination is the limit!

Self-Expression

Feel free to express yourself. Wear what you like, come as you are or be a princess, superhero, monk, indian, bear, unicorn, rockstar, actress, pirate

Art, performances and music are welcome.
You are very welcome to perform in the main meeting place, in front of your tent or wherever you feel like it. Remember, no one is organized to perform something, it's only people like you and me who make the show! Dont be shy, just do it! It will be fun!
