FIRST NIGHT SARATOGA 2013
Explore the Night!
Once again, Saratoga Arts is proud to present First Night Saratoga, the New Year's celebration of the arts and community. Broadway and the surrounding streets will be filled with music, art, and family-friendly entertainment. It is a true showcase of the diverse and immense talent in the Capitol-Saratoga region.
First Night Saratoga has a long tradition of presenting the most popular performers in the Capitol Region and beyond. First Night 2013 will be no exception, as many of our local favorites will be returning to entertain and delight on New Year's Eve. However, this year our theme is EXPLORE THE NIGHT, and is meant to encourage revelers to see or hear something they haven't before.
We are excited to announce the return of The Tartan Terrors who performed to sold out crowds last year. Also headlining this year will be Alex Torres and his Latin Orchestra, who will definitley get you on your feet! Kids won't want to miss the high seas' antics of Buccaneer Bindlestiff's Swashbuckling Cirkus. Six of the best up-and-coming young bands in the area will be performing on one stage in a mini-music festival called FIRST FEST. Check out these exciting new performers before they break onto the national scene!
On New Year's Eve bring your printed ticket to Saratoga Arts, 320 Broadway or the Saratoga Springs City Center, 522 Broadway to get your First Night Button. The button is your entry to every First Night performance of the night!
