Incorruptible: The Tragical Historie of Maximilien Robespierre
Incorruptible follows the incredible life of Maximilien Robespierre, from radical revolutionary to national hero to mass murderer. Performed by a gender-queered ensemble in a wild array of theatrical styles, Incorruptible captures the wild spirit of the French revolution, when anything was possible.
Incorruptible comes as the second installment in The Joust Theatre Company's 2017 Workshop Series: An Examination of Identity. The series is a platform for four new plays that explore identity, belonging, and the responsibility we have to raise our unique voices amidst adversity.
