3rd Annual Cultural Heritage (Multicultural Festival)
Welcome to the 2017 3rd Annual Cultural Heritage- Multicultural Festival, sponsored by JHP Legacy, The City of Shoreline, SFLP Arts Council and 4Culture and Shoreline Public Schools.
The Cultural Education and Community Development project (CULTURAL HERITAGE) is by its nature, a Community-based and Community driven project, which seeks to involve people from all segments of the community to make the project a success. The increase in diversity means there is also a growing need to find ways to make sure all communities have opportunities to connect in order to better understand each other, hence Cultural Heritage.
Collaborate with the community and other organizations to develop, organize and implement performance-based programs that educate and unite the individuals in the community through cultural understanding and exchange of ideas.
Cultural Heritage 2017 will see on stage live performance by different countries, different cultures and diverse groups, story telling, rhythms, movements and songs, with an engagement of the attendees where they get to learn about the connections between rhythms, life and humanity.
