Land Management Resources for Farmers
Join the Small Acreage Program and several Clark County organizations for a free informational session and meet & greet that will provide tips and resources on how to best manage your small farm.
Noe Penney of the Small Acreage Program and Anne Lawrence of Storytree Farms will talk about the Small Acreage Program, including the Model Property Program. Denise Smee of the Clark Conservation District will provide information about farm plans, conservation programs, and grants available to landowners in Clark County. Ron Hendrickson of Clark County Vegetation Management will speak about weed identification, control, and the Weed Free Forage Program.
The session will be organized by the Small Acreage Program, which is co-sponsored by Washington State University Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet other local farmers, and learn about resources available in Clark County.
