BABAR Celebration of Alyssa Abeyta
Union Pool is hosting a great, big BABAR party on Tuesday, June 20th to honor our dear friend Alyssa Abeyta (Hotel Delmano, Union Pool) and raise funds for a memorial for her in McCarren Park.
Alyssa was a founding member of BABAR (Brooklyn Allied Bars and Restaurants), a dedicated community organizer, and friend and mentor to many. Sadly, Alyssa lost an intense battle with cancer last summer. We will join together in celebrating her life, and helping to continue her legacy of great work in our community. In addition to a memorial, a portion of the proceeds will go to causes supported by Alyssa, such as NAG and Town Hall.
Open bar, cocktails, great food, great music.
