Six one-act plays by local authors:
"The Wedding Duel," directed by Diane Arabella. On the day of her reluctant daughters wedding, a mother gives advice on dueling (comedy).
"Beyond Redemption," directed by Lois Corwin. After winning his latest high-profile murder case, an evening of celebration for the successful attorney changes tone when his daughter encounters the newly released defendant(drama).
"Contemplata Aliis Tradere," directed by Helene Marshall. An intrepid young nun boldly challenges nunnery politics to earn a chance at a highly coveted task: making hand-milled soap for the soon-to-visit Pope. An internal power play ensues about scents and sense (comedy).
"Criminal Neglect," directed by Rachel Alt. Larry comes to visit a woman he is convinced is his mother who put him up for adoption (drama).
"Dead Kittens," directed by Robert Klein. Two serial killers pick the same spot to dispose of their latest victims. At first amused, their cordial banter about their trade soon turns to irritation over their loss of press coverage until one killer shares his specialized modus operandi for garnering press (comedy).
"The Letter," directed by Linda Wielkotz. Two elderly females enjoy an afternoon together until one slowly reveals her tale of a letter from long-ago she found in an old bookcase in her room (sweet, honest).
