Sebastopol Center for the Arts Grand Opening Celebration
The Center for the Arts has remodeled the 17,800 square foot Veterans Memorial Auditorium in downtown Sebastopol - upgrading the lighting and acoustics; adding air conditioning, retractable walls and new classrooms for ceramics, painting, drawing and weaving - all to accommodate expanded art programs. Designed by Persinger Architects, the new Center for the Arts has three galleries, a commercial kitchen, auditorium with a stage, ample parking, rooms for community use, and outdoor space for sculpture.
The Grand Opening Celebration is Friday, December 7, 6-9pm. The event will feature the opening of the Annual Members Show, live and silent auctions, ceramics sale; and superb hospitality with hors d'ouevres, fine wines, non-alcoholic beverags; and music by one of Sonoma County's hottest bands Batacha.
Tickets are $20 advance / $25 on the day of the event.
Sebastopol Center for the Arts presents exhibitions, performances, a film festival, open studio tour, garden tour, readings, and classes for children & adults. Enjoy the rural ambiance of Sonoma County - near wineries, the Russian River and Sonoma Coast. You're gonna love this place!
