Jersey Relief Experiment
Hurricane Sandy has had an immense impact on the tri-state area, especially Hudson County, New Jersey, which includes Hoboken and Jersey City. Our thoughts are with those displaced by the flooding and trying to get their lives back together. We at the Food Experiments are just one organization, among many, trying to help the local community. The Jersey Booze Experiment has been renamed the Jersey Relief Experiment and will take place on Sunday December 2nd at Maxwell's in Hoboken from 12 to 3PM. We've decided to turn the event into a charity cookoff to help benefit Hudson County, NJ, which was hit hard by the storm and still recovering.
Amateurs from across New Jersey and afar are invited to bring their culinary A game and compete for glory. We are creating a benefit auction leading up to the event where people can bid on amazing culinary prizes generously donated by Le Creuset, Wusthof Knives, Brooklyn Slate, Brooklyn Brewery and more... Those who attend, can bid on these prizes leading up to the cookoff and live at the event.
Come down, enjoy great beer and food, and help Hudson County, NJ recover from Hurricane Sandy. Tickets to attend are still $15 and go towards the benefit fund.
