Brass Band Bonanza - Honk! Fest West 10 launch party at Hale's Palladium
HONK! Fest West (Honkfestwest.org) is a three day Community Street Band festival that takes place across Seattle. All bands that participate can play anywhere and don't need a sound system to bring the party to the streets. Bands come from around the country and the globe to join up with our local street bands and create an unforgettable three day celebration of music and community.
The June 1st event, sponsored by Chaotic Noise Marching Corps and your HONK! Committee, takes place at Hale's Palladium. It will feature several of the traveling bands, and all proceeds will help these bands defray their personally incurred travel costs. That's right. They came all the way here just to entertain YOU!
