The Bee Eaters Present: Shasta String Summit On Tour
Tristan and Tashina Clarridge began learning violin at age two, and have spent the past 3 decades immersed in a broad range of rich musical learning environments. Introduced early on to the life-changing community of music camps, they studied from luminaries such as Darol Anger, Alasdair Fraser, Mark OConnor, Bruce Molsky, Natalie MacMaster, and others. Through the freedom of self-directed home-schooling and natural rural lifestyle, they were encouraged and nurtured to explore what they loved most, eventually leading them down a life path of music.
To share and strengthen the interwoven connectedness of music, community, and culture, Tashina and Tristan Clarridge co-founded the Shasta Music Summit, uniting the highest level of musical masterminds with students of all ages, for a series of workshops and all-star concerts, in a holistic community environment. Now in its 13th year, the Shasta Music Summit is revered by many as a powerful musical and social melting pot. This tour will showcase some of those inter-generational connections and collaborations that have evolved at Shasta over the years.
