Gardens for Small Spaces Workshop
Are you interested in growing delicious vegetables at home your family can enjoy; but not sure how to get started?
Join Clark County Master Gardeners for a workshop on starting a vegetable garden for small yards.
The hands-on event will cover how to select your site, choosing easy-to-start-with vegetables, and will include tips on maintaining a new garden - all with limited yard space.
This workshop is perfect for those who thought they lacked room to grow veggies or those just getting started gardening.
Participation is limited to 20. Children are welcome to join the fun.
This workshop is put on in conjunction with Clark County Public Health - Solid Waste Outreach. It is free.
Dress for the weather and for getting dirty. Participants will help plant vegetable starts.
WHEN: Saturday, June 17 from 10am to noon.
WHERE: Location will be provided via email upon registration. Home is generally located in inner SE Vancouver.
COST: Free.
