It was 50 years ago today.... A once in a lifetime experience featuring 12 of Chicago's best musicians performing the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album in its entirety! A string section, brass, and keyboards, complete the instrumentation for one of the most beloved albums in rock history.
Opening the show will be Tyler Krienitz. He is a 25 year old singer/songwriter from Aurora, IL. He has released 4 studio albums and performs all over the Chicago area. He will be doing a tribute set to Bob Dylan.
Joining the Lonley Hearts Club Band will be Sandip Burman! Sandip is a world-renowned sitar and tabla player from India. Brought to the U.S. by Beatles Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Sandip has played with musicians such as Bela Fleck and Ravi Shankar. He has played at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and locally at Ravinia and House of Blues Chicago.
