The play centers around an alcoholic college student named Margot in her struggle to regain control of her addiction, emotions, and life as she finds her place in the world. In an intricate exploration of the notions of truth and autonomy, sadism and masochism, Matt McDonald's play follows Margot's struggle to reach peace in spite of a suspicious stranger, whom she meets in a church parking lot after her first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
