Mecklenburg County Crisis Intervention Team Community Awareness & Recognition Event
Please join us to learn more about our local CIT initiative. CIT is a pre-arrest jail diversion best practice model designed to improve law enforcement and community responses' to people experiencing behavioral health crises. CIT is built on strong partnerships between law enforcement, mental health provider agencies, individuals and families affected by mental illness.
