Anacostia River Explorer Tour
Wednesday, May 17, 2017 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Welcome spring time with a relaxing and fun river cruise!
Join DC EcoWomen to learn about the Anacostia Rivers history, wildlife, the environmental threats it faces, and the solutions helping to realize its full potential. The guided motorboat tour will be led by Emily Franc, a riverkeeper from Anacostia Riverkeeper and previous DC EcoWomen EcoHour speaker!
Anacostia Riverkeeper is an advocacy organization working to restore the Anacostia River and create opportunities for the community to connect to the river.
This is an open-air boat that rides low in the water, so please dress casually and for the weather. Bring plenty of water, and you may bring snacks as well. Also, please note that there are no public restroom facilities directly adjacent to the boat dock, so plan your trip accordingly. Everyone coming on the boat will be required to fill out and sign a waiver.

When: Wednesday, May 17th, 5:30pm-7:30pm (please arrive 15 minutes prior)
