What if Christmas shopping was free? What if neighbors got together and traded unused gifts they didn't want? That's the Holiday Free Market and Café: From unused gifts and holiday decorations to clothing, books, appliances, and food - it's all free!

How to participate: Bring unused gifts, holiday decorations, and other things you don't need -- so other people can enjoy them -- and go home with gifts you can give this year.

The Holiday Free Market isn't limited to gifts. Take this chance to clean out your closet, attic, or garage. Bring unwanted clothing, books, appliances, even fruit from the tree in your yard. Give and take toys, tools, winter coats, DVDs, games, sports equipment, and even art supplies -- all for free.

FREE CAFÉ

The Holiday Free Market and Café will feature free food and live music. Food will include fresh-squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee, and baked goods.

The Free Café rolls out carpet, tables, chairs, and a serving station in the parking space at Strub Avenue Farm every Saturday from 10a-12p. Kids are invited to draw with our chalk mural artist.

Held at Strub Avenue Farm in Whittier, the Holiday Free Market and Café is co-hosted by the Whittier Time Bank and Whittier Backyard Farms, in association with the Long Beach Free Store and the Orange County Time Bank.
