An evening with TWINK
IWe are truly honoured and very excited to announce 'AN EVENING WITH TWINK'!
TWINK was in the eye of the storm in 1967 (The Summer Of Love) recording the Tomorrow album alongside The Beatles at Abbey Rd. Jamming with Jimi Hendrix at UFO Club. On the bill with Pink Floyd at UFO, The Roundhouse & The Saville Theatre. He joined The Pretty Things in early 1968 & recorded SF SORROW at Abbey Rd with them. He will discuss the making of SF SORROW, the Electric Banana recordings, working with Norman Wisdom in the film What's Good For The Goose and much more. While with The Pretty Things He recorded his first solo album THINK PINK by TWINK for Sire Records in 1969. He will discuss the making of THINK PINK and how that all came together. In 1969 he formed the Pink Fairies and discuss this & the making of Never Neverland (first album). And much more........
The night will be an informal interview with TWINK. anwith a question and answers session, a break, and then more informal chat with questions and answers
A playlist of music he's been involved in will be aired before, between and after the interview, and merchandise will be available to purchase too!
This will be a fantastic insight into someone who was at the heart of an incredible music scene, working with some of the most renowned musicians and songwriters of all time!
