In this session we'll talk about ways to create meaningful stories from your life experience, because you have way more than one book in you. Through tips, examples, and writing exercises, you'll come out of this workshop understanding how impactful your story can be. This session is suitable for writers who are just starting as well as those who are trying to finish their books.
About the Instructor: Lisa Kirchner is the author of the critically-acclaimed Hello American Lady Creature: What I Learned as a Woman in Qatar (Greenpoint Press), and host of the monthly True Stories storytelling show. Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Budget Travel, and Salon.com among numerous other outlets. As a yoga teacher, her classes have been featured on FOX News, Glamour magazine, and on Yahoo!Shine.
