Papa Echo 29 presents THE KING BISCUIT BOYS & THE EXPLETIVES
An evening to showcase local talent, featuring THE KING BISCUIT BOYS and THE EXPLETIVES.
The King Biscuit Boys are an acoustic blues duo that play country blues from the modern world with a bit of humour when they can.Band Members are Jonathan on Guitar and vocals & Craig on Harmonica, Melodica, spoons, washboard and anything else that he can find!! they love Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Junior Wells & Buddy Guy and all other harmonica and guitar blues duos. The blues is a broadchurch and they enjoy just about all of that from the early raw Delta and various pre-war styles through the post war emergence of the electric styles. A bit of psycedelia and Rock blues.
The Expletives describe themselves as "a Rambunctious Tribute To The Punk & New Wave Explosion of the 70's & 80's". Basd in Peterborough, band members are: Sean Dunleavy (lead vocals) Angus Mackman (guitar and vocal) Vincent Mackie (bass and vocal) & Scott White (drums and vocal). They base their act on artists like The Jam, The Ramones, Stiff Little Fingers, The Ruts, The Sex Pistols, The Damned, The Clash, The Stranglers and Sham 69.
It'll be a night to remember.
