Bill and I could not be more excited about having Mark Edgar Stuart perform at the house May 12th.
Mark was the first of our friends to pick up an instrument and play a song or two at the house. He stopped by after we first moved in and showed us how amazing the acoustics were. We knew then that using the space for live performance was a must. This is the way music was intended to be played and heard and if you've not had an opportunity to experience a house concert or listening room performance, this is your chance! Mark is a friend but he is also an exceptional musician, songwriter and human being.
Please plan to arrive at 7pm to get the lay of the land and mingle with our guests and your fellow Memphians that love live music as much as you do!
Music starts at 8 sharp. Mark will play two sets with a break in between. That will give everyone time to move around and mingle, while giving the artist your full attention when he is performing.
We'll have a simple spread of eatables representative of Memphis and encourage you to bring your favorite dish to share. Here at the MMM, we appreciate the link between food and music. Dust off your favorite recipe and cook something up, ya'll! I'll provide the serving spoons, plate and forks etc...
Non-Alcoholic beverages will be provided.
