AARON HOWARD
AARON HOWARD ACOUSTIC SINGER-SONGWRITER FRIDAY, JUN 2 @ 7PM $20 TICKET
After years of playing bars, Aaron Howard took a leap of faith into the folk touring circuit with the release his 2014 album of original folk rock, "Heart on Fire."
He was a Kerrville New Folk Songwriting finalist (1 of 35 out of 800), a performer with British film composer, Philip Sheppard at Sundance, and he shared the stage with legendary producer and songwriter, Patrick Leonard after winning a national songwriting competition and becoming the official music groundbreaker at HATCHfest. He spent the last the summer and fall of 2016 touring the US and Europe with Heart on FIre.
Starting in December, he's back in the studio to record a new album. He's making fast work of growing an audience that identifies with the voice he's finally found. "Howard's talent for songwriting makes it clear that he's an old soul." Says Yarrow Kraner, founder of HATCHfest. "Even a casual listener would assume he's drawing from the experience and emotion of someone twice his age."
