Seasonal Sauerkraut, Strawberry Fermentation & Cider Tasting Workshop
Celebrate strawberry season by learning about many different ways to ferment them!
We're excited to be working with Reverend Nat's Hard Cider on this sauerkraut-making and cider-pairing workshop!
LEARN: We'll explain fermentation and have a brief discussion about the benefits of making and eating fermenting foods, as well as a history of Reverend Nat's
TOUR the tasting room
DEMO: We'll show you how easy it is to start making fermented foods yourself at home! We'll demo some simple seasonal fermented recipes with strawberries which are loaded with healthy "probiotic" bacteria.
TASTE: We'll have a variety of fermented dishes to sample - Seasonal Sauerkraut with dried strawberries - Pickled green strawberries - Strawberry-jalapeno chutney
Cider PAIRING: We will pair these fermented strawberry condiments with some of Rev. Nat's finest ciders.
DO IT YOURSELF: Roll up your sleeves and make your very own batch of seasonal sauerkraut to take home and ferment
Ticket price includes three 5-ounce tasters (21+ only) and your own take-home mason jar of seasonal sauerkraut!
