Learn how to make a beautiful garlic basket to hang in the kitchen, or alternatively you can hang it outside with fat balls in it as a bird feeder.
Working with natural willow, we will use a former to hold 12 uprights in place and use a 'waling' weave to spiral up the sides, holding the stakes in place and creating a cone shape. Students will learn how to tie a gorgeous Japanese knot at the top, and finish the basket off with a trac border and simple handle.
