Hootenanny and Pie Auction
Get your Ozark on! Artists Laboratory Theatre celebrates our community with a Hootenanny and Pie Auction, an outdoor fundraising party held at the Cheadle Farms (home of Apple Seeds Teaching Farm) on May 20 from 6-9 PM. Tickets are $20 ($5 for children 10 and under), and include a barbecue dinner, drinks, and dessert, along with entertainment, and a local celebrity pie auction. The Cheadle Farms is located immediately north of Ozark Natural Foods. Parking is available at Ozark Natural Foods at 1554 N College Ave.
In addition to food and drinks, party-goers can kick up their heels to a live old-time string band and take part in traditional Southern square dancing, taught & called by Allison Williams from the popular Fayetteville Square Dance. This family-friendly event will also feature lawn games such as a three-legged race, horseshoes, and more. During the party, an array of outstanding pies made by local foodies and chefs will be bid on in a silent auction.
All proceeds from the fundraising event will go to support the theatres diverse and innovative programming, which includes community-centric theatre, a radio show (Sunday Night Service) on KUAF 91.3 Public Radio, and outreach programs for adults and youth.
