Headliner: John Gibson
Originally born in Ohio, this transplanted southerner is a natural storyteller. From growing up with his crazy family and his years spent working behind a bar, to his hilarious observations about late night TV and Adventures in Drinking til all hours of the morning, John will captivate you by bringing you into his world.
He has toured all over the U.S. with multiple comedians including Carlos Valencia. He was Nominated as Best Local Comedian in Columbia and recently was a part of the Broken Record Comedy Show in Nashville, TN. John has featured at the What A Joke Comedy Festival in Knoxville and is the creator of Comedy is a Drag: A Stand Up Comedy Drag Show.
John has opened or featured for comedians such as Doug Stanhope, MYQ Kaplan, Dave Stone, Joe Zimmerman, Shane Mauss, Ben Kronberg, Jarrod Harris, and more. Always striving for more, John has the dream of one day taking over hosting duties on The Tonight Show (a desire he's had since he was five). Check him out next time he is in a city near you.
Feature Lance Adams
A married, father of 2 & competitive beardsman, Lance was born & raised in Morristown, TN. Lance has been doing comedy since 2014. He was selected to perform at the Scruffy City Comedy Festival for the last 3 years. He has performed as a feature, headliner, & host all over the Southeast. Lance can be seen as a regular performer for the Ooh Ooh Revue Show.
Special Guests Danny Whitson
Born and raised in Oak Ridge, TN, Danny Whitson has succeeded at bringing live entertainment to his beloved town! Traveling throughout the Southeastern region he has been able to voice his comedic opinions on family, work and life in general. You may have seen him previously at Side Splitters, The Comedy Catch, Zanies, The Laughing Skull, The Comedy Zone or in Oak Ridge at the Historic Grove Theater. Before his comedic venture Danny performed as a magician. He is locally known for his magic shows, performing for the Lavender Festival and Taste of Anderson County annually. He's done a number of private and corporate shows throughout Tennessee. Not to mention fairs and festivals in Anderson County, Sevier County, Jefferson County and Knox County. Currently, Danny incorporates both talents and brings them to the stage for an entertaining adventure that is unforgettable and extremely enjoyable.
Jay Kendrick
Jay Kendrick is an aggressive yet loveable (kinda) comedian with a fast paced style and quick wit. A former Mixed Martial Arts fighter and proud (and vocal) owner of a trust fund, Jay is certainly unique and most likely insane. He has opened for the likes of Kyle Kinane, Trae Crowder, Tim Northern, Dan St. Germain, Cliff Cash and more.
Bettie Bupkiss
Born in South Florida, Bettie Bupkiss unexpectedly shimmied her tushie up to the Bible Belt to share her love of latkes, lox, and lamentations. Bettie has performed around the southeast with the Ooh Ooh Revue, Asheville Vaudeville, Blankfest, Rhythm n Blooms, and the Satanic Mechanics. You can see this Mistress of Mishegas performing with the Ooh Ooh Revue in Knoxville every First Friday at Modern Studio.
Brattie Von Beaverhausen
Brattie Von Beaverhausen, originally from NashVegas, has dominated the local burlesque scene in the past year. She currently produces and performs with The Ooh Ooh Revue. Past performances include Asheville Vaudeville, Blankfest, and Rhythm N Blooms. You can see her every first Friday at Modern Studio, where she'll take you on a Neo-burlesque journey of passion, laughter, and sass!
