The Paul Tillotson New York Connection Lucky Peak
Paul Tillotson said, My mission is to play great improvised music, deeply touching the souls of audiences around the world, spreading the joy that is created while making music that comes from love. From this love, he established the Paul Tillotson Music Scholarship in 2001 for a graduating Borah High School student who is interested in pursuing music in college. Paul Tillotson was an acclaimed jazz pianist who tragically passed away in 2016.
To honor Pauls life and legacy and keep his dreams alive, we are celebrating with two concerts in Idaho featuring The Paul Tillotson New York Connection. The Paul Tillotson New York Connection is a collection of Pauls closest and most talented musician friends and includes Grammy nominated blues master Bill Sims, Jr. and Mike Merritt and James Wormworth from Late Night with Conan OBriens Basic Cable Band.
The concerts are on June 23rd at the Limelight Hotel in Ketchum, Idaho, and on June 24th at the Sandy Point Amphitheater at Lucky Peak Reservoir in Boise, Idaho. We are raising funds to support the scholarship and the opportunities that it will provide students in years to come. Free admission for children 16 and under.
