RMPJC Annual Peacemaker of the Year Award Event / Holiday Celebration
This is RMPJC's annual award presentation event / Holiday Celebration / Fund Raiser. This year's award recipients are: * Left Hand Book Collective*, for Lifetime Achievement in helping create social justice and peace by providing access to a full spectrum of information which is essential for increasing understanding and awareness in order to have the tools needed for creating social change.
* Janet Heimer * Peacemaker of the Year, for her decades of outstanding achievements in creating a climate of justice and inclusivity by collaborating, coordinating and organizing with people from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures.
* Boulder Food Rescue *, Young Peacemakers of the Year, for creating food justice and security by actively rescuing food that would otherwise go into landfills and getting it instead to the people who need it.
There will be a silent auction with lots of interesting, as well as practical, items, and a simple vegan supper will be prepared and served by Boulder Food Rescue.
Please join us for a wonderful evening paying tribute to these dedicated peace and justice workers.
