VON STRANTZ AND THE MOSLEYS RETURN TO CHATTAHOOCHEE HILLS
VON STRANTZ, two Chicagoland sisters estranged from birth, with two different upbringings, from across the continent finally meet. They took their now known commonalities and in 2013 joined their last names Von Strantz to create music and art from lifes adversities.
Utilizing a variety of instruments such as violin, cello, keys, guitar and feet percussion, Von Strantz unites harmonies strung together by commanding and soulful lyrics. With story-sharing as their passion. Von Strantz invites their audience into the emotion of each piece. In 2015 Von Strantz won Eddies Attic Songwriting Shoot-out.
THE MOSLEYS began on a quiet, dark front porch in 2104, when Rachel and Stephen Mosley stepped out the front door to relax and play some music after putting their five children to bed. With the encouragement of their neighbors, they found themselves playin-and winning-an open mic competition at Zac Brown's Southern Ground.
They have since appeared at numerous venues in the Southeast, won the singer/songwriter shootout at Eddie's Attic, opened for Air Supply at Chastain Park and played 30A and Wire and Wood festival twice. Their new recording produced by Phil Madeira will be released sometime this Fall.
