Intermediate and Advanced Blacksmithing
This blacksmithing class is for intermediate and advanced students only. Students will work on moving and shaping materials, forging, and possibly more advanced welding skills, depending on existing skill level. project is a cooking fork. class is for ages 18 and up.
Please bring hammer and tongs (if available), safety glasses, and a cotton denim or leather apron. Plan to wear non-synthetic fabric long pants and shirt and high-top work boots.
Class is part of Landis Valley's 2017 Summer Institute. Class runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
Please note that prices include a catered breakfast and lunch in the Yellow Barn each day for Institute participants. If you choose to forgo the meals, please choose the 'no meals option' pricing.
Students must be age 18 or older. Please visit our website, www.landisvalleymuseum.org, for more information on Institute. Landis Valley Associates (LVA) members receive 5% off their registration.
