PRESENTATION: Sound Transit 3: Estimate and Schedule Development In November 2016, Puget Sound voters approved the $54 billion Sound Transit 3 (ST3) plan, including a 62-mile expansion of the existing Link light rail system, extension of the Sounder commuter rail system, and creation of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines on SR 522 and I-405. This presentation will discuss the scope of ST3 and the process Sound Transit used to develop the programs estimates & schedules.
PRESENTER: Andrea Forderer, PE, PMP, CCP, VMA Ms. Forderer has twelve years of professional experience in planning, managing, and executing capital transportation projects. As a Corridor Project Control Supervisor for Sound Transit, she oversees project control implementation on several major link light rail projects. Ms. Forderer is a professional engineer in Washington state, and certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP - PMI), Certified Cost Professional (CCP AACE Intl.), and Value Methodology Associate (VMA SAVE Intl.).

COST: The member price for this event is $32.00 if you register before 12:00 Noon on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting; late registration is $37.00. Non-members price is $39.00 before 12:00 Noon on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting, and $45.00 thereafter.
Please note that registration will be closed Monday, May 8th, at 12:00 pm.
A very limited of first come first served meals will be available at the door.

The AACE Seattle Section will be rotating menu selections this program year; we are interested in obtaining your feedback!

AACE Seattle Section meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through May (excluding December). Each meeting with a technical presentation qualifies for .25 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) towards your CCP/CEP/CFCC/DRMP/EVP/PSP recertification requirements.
