Culture in Agriculture

Join Global Growers for the 6th annual Toast to the Culture in Agriculture on May 21th, 2017 at the Bamboo Creek Farm. We invite you to join us in celebrating the vibrant and diverse food and agriculture traditions of Global Growers farmers.

The event will showcase local brews and spring flavors from around the globe at the idyllic, 15-acre Bamboo Creek Farm, where the farmers are global and the food is local.

Global Growers farm families, who have come to the U.S. as refugees from countries such as Burma, Malaysia, Nepal, Bhutan and Burundi, are growing a vast variety of fresh spring greens. Farmers and local chefs will prepare seasonal tastings featuring the best of spring vegetables and a world of flavors.

Proceeds from the event will support Global Growers work connecting farmers to land, education, and markets. The family friend event will include food tastings, brews, and farm tours.

We are thrilled to welcome you and guests to join us at Bamboo Creek Farm to make a toast to the new food and agriculture traditions that we are creating together here in Georgia.

This is an outdoor event so plan accordingly if inclement weather is in the forecast. No refunds will be issued due to the weather.
