In the spirit of Canada 150, Cape Breton represents Nova Scotia in a coast to coast celebration of the many composers and lyricists who have made lasting contributions to the musical theatre canon. Featuring a cast of local performers showcasing the best of Canadian musical theatre, including selections from: The Drowsy Chaperone, Evangeline, and Come From Away.

The Highland Arts Theatre is proud to welcome Sean McCann, as part of a summer East Coast homecoming tour, to the heart of Cape Breton Island. An international award-winner, Sean will perform some of his new and classic solo songs, as well as beloved favourites from the Great Big Sea catalogue.

The Music of George Gershwin
Swing your way through some of the greatest jazz standards in this new concert featuring some of the HATs greatest singers, dancers, and jazz musicians. With new arrangements by Christopher Mounteer (Sinatra: A Celebration & Kitchen Party) youll be swinging along to all your favourites including: Someone to Watch Over Me, S Wonderful, Summertime, and I Got Rhythm.
