APPETITE
APPETITE is an experiment in performance using the principle of audio feedback as a creative tool made live in collaboration between Skewed Visions co-founder Charles Campbell and composer/sound designer Ted Moore.
Part concert, part storytelling, part film, part consumption-machine lovefeast, APPETITE could be described as the re-telling of history after the invention of time-travel -- but that probably wouldn't do it justice.
Inspired by sources as varied as Guy Debord's "The Society of the Spectacle," Chris Marker's sci-fi film-novel, "La Jetee," the poetry of Vladimir Mayakovsky, and the principle of audio feedback, APPETITE is a new performance work created by the live manipulation of story, sound, and image in performed space.
If we could tell you what you'd experience, there would be no point in you coming.
APPETITE will be preceeded by Ted Moore's sound installation/performance, "feedback vi"
