Summer Favorites Open Hearth Cooking Class at Landis Valley
From funnel cake to pepper cabbage, there is nothing that brings up memories of summer picnics and fairs as much as the food. In this class, we will use the hearth and bake oven to make a selection of dishes that will speak to those memories.
Please wear clothing made completely with natural fibers and bring an apron.
Class is part of Landis Valley's 2017 Summer Institute. Class runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
Please note that prices include a catered breakfast and lunch in the Yellow Barn each day for Institute participants. If you choose to forgo the meals, please choose the 'no meals option' pricing.
Students must be age 18 or older. Please visit our website, www.landisvalleymuseum.org, for more information on Institute. Landis Valley Associates (LVA) members receive 5% off their registration. If you are a member, please check our website for the code listed with the class and enter it in the "Discount Code" field at checkout.
