Dorm Room Lodging is available on the Macalester Campus (the closest!) and at Concordia University (a 15 minute bus ride or 1.7 mile walk away). Macalester dorms have box fans only (no air-conditioning). Concordia rooms have air-conditioning but are further away.
Dorm lodging is first come, first served and needs to be reserved by JULY 10th.
Macalester College dorms (Bigelow Hall): 50 two-bed rooms ($21 per person per night) and a limited number of private rooms ($35 per person per night) are available right on campus. Reminder: There is a box fan in each room, but NO air conditioning.
Concordia dorms (Wollaeger Hall): 43 rooms, most of which are set up as doubles (or triples) but can be used as singles. The cost is $25 per person per night. If you want to share a room and have a specific roommate - let us know, otherwise we will assume it is a single.
Please note: Macalester dorm rooms are only available Wednesday (7/26) night - Sunday (7/30) night. Participants need to be out of the dorms Monday morning as another group is coming in.
If you will be staying in a double room at Macalester or at Concordia, let us know if you you have a specific roommate. For those who purchased twin-room accommodation at Macalester and did not identify a roommate, we will send you a follow-up survey to help us match you with a roommate.
If you only require lodging at Macalester for only one night, please email info@transitionus.org to reserve.
REFUNDS: Refunds can be made until July 10th, minus a 15% service charge.
