Yeast 101 for Homebrewers
White Labs Boulder is excited to present a workshop designed for homebrewers. Led by White Labs Education & Engagement Curator and Certified Cicerone Erik Fowler, this class will explore yeast strain selection, easy resolutions for common off flavors and optimal yeast pitch rates for home fermentations.
Additionally, homebrewers will learn tips for designing a homebrew recipe centered around a specific strain and how to select the ideal White Labs yeast for particular beer styles. This 90-minute discussion will also cover how to properly incorporate nutrients and enzymes for achieving the healthiest fermentations and optimal finished beers. To help illustrate the casual, educational workshop, attendees will enjoy a guided flight of five White Labs-brewed beers.
Come prepared with questions and sign up before the class fills up as there is limited seating!
