AFP Canada Central Ontario AGM

I am so pleased to invite you to the first Annual General Members Meeting of AFP Canada Central Ontario Chapter. This is a milestone as it marks the completion of our founding period. At this meeting we will formally pass the bylaws of the organization and a new Board will be elected. Please note that voting during the AGM is restricted to members of AFP Central Ontario. Voting cards will be distributed at the door.

Continuing our tradition of mixing business with pleasure, we have invited Mide Akerewusi to join us. His presentation will be about the impact of storytelling. If our mandate is to generate donations, then what questions do fundraisers need to be asking about whose story, told how, to whom? How can we share stories ethically, powerfully, and authentically?

Of course, we will take advantage of the wonderful hospitality at the Side Door Café as well. Please plan to stay after the AGM and Mide's presentation to continue the conversation over finger foods and drinks. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided and there will be a cash bar.
