Sylvia Barnes & Sandy Stanage at AMC @ UCC

" ...superb Scots singing style" (Norman Chalmers). "The guitar guv'nor" (Archie Fisher). Sylvia and Sandy have performed as a duo since 2006, when Sylvia was crowned "Scots Singer of the Year" (Scots Trad Music Awards). Both were founder members of the influential Glasgow band Kentigern. In recent years they have made a number of recordings and performed at clubs and festivals in the UK and Europe, showcasing a breadth of material from traditional to contemporary song and music. Sandy is a noted guitar soloist and accompanist for a wide range of singers and instrumentalists.
