Real Time at AMC @ UCC
This Scottish borders-based band offering a repertoire of songs, tunes from both sides of the Border, plus contemporary, self-penned material. They have released several albums to wide critical acclaim since forming (2002). The band is Kenny Speirs (guitar/vocals), Tom Roseburgh (keyboards) -both ex-John Wright Band- Eilidh Grant (vocals/bodhran), Carly Blain (fiddle), and occasionally John Rafferty (guitar). They tour regularly in Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, UK performing at many top festivals including Celtic Connections and The Fringe. Eilidh's debut album "Masks and Smiles" won the 2011 New Music Scotland Award; Kenny's new album, "Sleepwalking", is receiving rave reviews.
