Grey Matter

Trip the Light Dance Company presents Grey Matter: An Exploration Through Dance, featuring the Youth Training Company. The Youth Training Company consists of twelve company dancers ages 12+ and three apprentices. Grey Matter showcases the original work of 10 professional Canadian choreographers on the dancers.

A central component of the central nervous system, grey matter is any area of neural tissue that is dominated by cell bodies and is devoid of myelin, such as the cerebral cortex and the periaqueductal grey of the spinal cord. Join us on a journey as we explore the information processing of the brain and body through an exploration of movement.
