Iona Fyfe at AMC @ UCC

Aberdeenshire folksinger, Iona Fyfe is one of Scotlands finest young ballad singers. A finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year (2017), Iona performs with, ...incredible confidence and maturity (FolkRadio.co.uk). An exponent of North-East song and the Doric (the Scots language found in the northeast of Scotland in which there is an extensive body of poetry, ballads, and songs), in 2017, Iona will perform at Orkney, Stonehaven and Sark (Channel Islands) Folk Festivals. From Huntly, Iona is a student at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and released her EP, East, to great acclaim.
