Evan Christopher and pianist Tom McDermott have had a dynamic partnership for over twenty years. Their takes on traditional musics of New Orleans, Brazil, the Caribbean and beyond have yielded three CDs and praise from the decidedly not-failing New York Times, Rolling Stone and Downbeat. Classics and originals played with passion and élan, this is a rare chance to catch these two together in an intimate setting.
Light food and wine will be available between the two sets, but seating is limited. Guests are welcome to bring their own "pot-luck" food and beverage additions to the festivities.
