VIEWPOINTS WORKSHOP MOVEMENT TECHNIQUE FOR ACTORS WORKSHOP Led by Holly Natwora FOR AGES 15 and up. ALL LEVELS SUNDAY - APRIL 23, 2017 1 4 PM $10
(Reno, NV) Holly Natwora will lead a Viewpoints Movement Workshop based on the work created by Anne Bogart. Viewpoints is a technique of composition that provides a vocabulary for thinking about and acting upon movement and gesture and creates staging for the actor and director. This workshop is open for ages 15 and up, all levels of performers and will be held on April 23, 2017 from 1 PM 4 PM at Brüka Theatre as part of Brükas Artist in The House Series. Bring water and comfortable, flexible clothing that you can move around in. The workshop is limited to 16 and must have a minimum of 6. The cost for the session is $10. Please reserve your space in advance.
ABOUT THEATRE ARTIST HOLLY NATWORA Holly received her MFA from Columbia University in NYC and has performed in over 50 plays including two summers at Joseph Papp's New York Shakespeare Festival with Liev Schreiber and Michael C Hall. Holly has also appeared in television and film, most notably in Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Since moving to Reno in 2005, Holly has performed or directed at the Brüka Theatre, Reno Little Theater, Good Luck Macbeth, and TheatreWorks of Northern Nevada. Previously, Holly taught a successful auditioning class at UNR in which she incorporated Suzuki and Viewpoint techniques, something she learned first hand while studying with Anne Bogart and her SITI Company members at Columbia. Holly has directed Dangerous Liaisons, The Diary of Anne Frank and coming in June: Stupid F***ing Bird for Brüka and was last seen in Good People and Orpheus Descending. Holly is the Box Office Manager and an ensemble artist with Brüka Theatre.

Brükas Artist In The House Series features local, regional and national artists presenting their work to further the education and inspiration of the arts in the form of workshops, discussions and performances for our community. Brüka Theatre has collaborated with VSA Arts and The Kennedy Center. Past Artists have included: Mark Growden, Ananda Bena Weber, Lady Hull, Alexander Biber, Rachel Lopez, Sandra Neace, Cami Thompson, Mary Bennett and Holly Natwora presenting. The Artist In The House Series is funded by: The Nevada Arts Council, The City Of Reno and The National Endowment For The Arts.
