Poverty Bay Blues and Brews
The Des Moines Rotary Club invites you to attend the 7th Annual Poverty Bay Blues and Brews Fest on Saturday August 26, 2017. This event is the prime fundraiser for our Highline Music4Life program expanding music to youth in our local schools.
Enjoy a day on the shores of Puget Sound, listening and dancing to the tunes of Polly O'Keary and the Rhythm Method 12:30 - 2:00, Stacy Jones Band 2:30 - 4:00, Willie & the Whips 4:30 - 6:00, Lisa Mann Band 6:30 - 8:00.
To complement your blues and brews, we will be featuring a variety of fine foods. The Festival will be located on the shores of Puget Sound at the Des Moines Beach Park. This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine, you must be 21 or older to attend and no pets will be allowed inside the event.

Airways Brewing, Deschutes Brewery, Schooner Exact Brewing Company, Reuben's Brews, Georgetown Brewing Company, Aslan Brewing Company, Bad Jimmys Brewing Company, Diamond Knot Craft Brewing, Flying Lion Brewing, Fremont Brewing, Ghostfish Brewing, Jellyfish Brewing, Chatter Creek Cider, Half Lion Brewing Co., Mac & Jacks Brewing, Tin Dog Brewing, CounterBalance Brewing, Blue Mountain Cider and Watermill Winery
No outside food or beverages allowed. Low lawn chairs and picnic blankets allowed. There will be plenty of parking (paid in the marina with amaximum price $5.00) with a free shuttle circulating the marina on a regular basis. While you are in town, you might want to visit the Des Moines Farmer's Market.
Tickets are $35 in advance; $40 at the gate. Five tasting tokens included with the price of admission. All beer tastings are one Token! 100% of the net proceed support the Des Moines Rotary's charitable projects including our primary beneficiary Highline Music4Life
