CENTRAL BROOKLYN JAZZ GALA CONCERT
This year's Gala is a reception, buffet dining, and concert experience (price of ticket is all inclusive). Host venue, Weeksville Heritage Center, is Brooklyn's largest African American cultural institution; located in one of America's first free black communities. Live music by the Duane Eubanks Quintet and guest speaker WBGO radio personality Rob Crocker.
The GALA, a gratuitous event, Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium's way of thanking our supporters and the community in general for patronizing the organization. Seating is limited and advance tickets are required and must be presented at door. High fashion attire is suggested (semi-formal, business, African cultural attire). Buffet, beverages and musical performance are included.
This event is made possible in part by public funds from the NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs in partnership with NY City Council.
Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium reserves the right to screen guests for proper attire. This event is handicap accessible. Minors are not admitted.
